Eamon O’Hara is a freelance writer and EU Policy advisor. A native of Ireland, he lived in Brussels for many years, but in 2010 he moved with his wife and two Young children to a rural village in the Lot department in south west France. His recent book, A French Renaissance: An Irish Family Moves to France, recounts the story of the move and their efforts to create a new, more balanced and family-friendly life in rural France.
